How to Indent Text on Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is one of the most popular text editors that offers you hundreds of formatting effects and tools to work with. When adding indentation on Microsoft Word, you can use 3 different methods to help you get the desired results. Let’s have a closer look at all three ways to indent text on Microsoft Word.

1. Using the TAB Key

One of the most common and universal ways to add indentation to your text is by using the TAB key. This creates a first-line indent of 1/2 inch which is mostly suitable for a lot of people. Here’s how to do that.

• The top triangle marker is used to adjust the first-line indent
• The bottom triangle marker is used to adjust the hanging indent.

3. Using Indent Commands

The final method to add indentation to your text is by using the Indent Commands. Here’s a quick rundown on how to add indentation using indent commands.

1. Place your insertion cursor to the point of indentation or select the entire piece of text.

Which Devices Could Debut With Offline Tracking?

Tracking offline devices requires specific hardware which means that not all devices will be compatible with it. According to reports, the update to Find My Device could potentially roll out to Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro while older models like the Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel Fold will potentially lack this feature.
